Support Center and Local Panda Operators created magic for over 400 students at Rio Vista Elementary School in El Monte, California on December 15th. Every holiday season, Panda gives back to its local community through the Holiday Wish Event.

Panda partnered with the school staff to create student profiles that showcased each student’s favorite things. The profiles were displayed at our Support Center and Cherng Family Trust offices, allowing associates to select a student to sponsor. Through our associates’ generosity each student received a special holiday gift at the event!

The event was a winter dream for all. Panda volunteers transformed the school grounds into a holiday wonderland with colorful tinsel, balloon arches, festive décor, and even snow! Students were energized with bowls of delicious Orange Chicken, played fun games, won exciting prizes, picked out books, and received limited edition Panda beanies and socks. To keep the celebration going, students received a surprise visit from Pei Pei, our Panda mascot. After the food, games and dancing, students were surprised by their special gifts and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus. At the end of the day, the school was filled with joyous laughs and smiles from the students.
